Palmarola
Palmarola is a silent island, rich in coves and natural cavities. It’s the wildest of the Pontine Islands and is surrounded by clear and very fishy waters
The island is rich in obsidian, so much so that in prehistoric times men from the Circeo came here to pick it up to make weapons and tools for daily use. But the real peculiarity of the island are the dwarf palms to which Palmarola owes its name, the only palms that grow wild in Europe.
